Welche sollte Frau sich kaufen?

Ich habe jetzt leider nicht sehr viel Erfahrung was VR Brillen angeht, kann aber bedenkenlos die Quest 3 empfehlen.

Best VR Headsets for Playing Steam Games on PC
If your goal is to play VR games from Steam on your PC, several headsets stand out in 2025, each catering to different budgets and preferences. Here are the top options, their strengths, and key considerations:

Valve Index
Best for uncompromising Steam integration and premium PC VR experience

120Hz refresh rate, 1440x1600 resolution per eye

Renowned for its comfort, high-quality audio, and especially its „Knuckles“ controllers, which offer advanced finger tracking and immersion

Uses external „lighthouse“ base stations for ultra-precise room tracking (requires setup)

Direct integration with SteamVR for the largest VR game library

Higher price point, but often considered the gold standard for PC VR gaming

Meta Quest 3 / Quest 3S
Best for versatility and value

Can be used standalone or connected to a PC via Link Cable or Air Link (wireless)

High-resolution displays, improved processing power, and comfortable design

Excellent for both standalone Quest apps and SteamVR games when connected to a PC

No external sensors needed (inside-out tracking)

More affordable than high-end PC-only headsets, making it a great entry point

HTC Vive Pro 2
Best for top-tier visual fidelity

2448x2448 pixels per eye (highest resolution among mainstream headsets)

SteamVR compatible, also works with Viveport for additional content

Requires external base stations for tracking (like Valve Index)

Can be paired with Valve Index controllers for the best experience (but increases cost)

More expensive, but delivers the sharpest visuals for PC VR

HP Reverb G2
Best for image quality and comfort at a mid-range price

2160x2160 pixels per eye, 90Hz refresh rate

Inside-out tracking (no external sensors required)

Lightweight and comfortable for long sessions

Slightly less robust tracking than lighthouse-based systems, but excellent for most games

Great value for those prioritizing display clarity

PlayStation VR2 (with PC Adapter)
Best for those who also own a PS5 and want PC compatibility

Dual 2K OLED HDR screens, eye tracking, and advanced controllers

Now supports PC VR via an adapter, though setup is more complex and some features may be limited

Not as seamless as native PC headsets, but a strong all-around option if you already own one

Recommendations
Best overall for Steam and PC VR: Valve Index, for its seamless SteamVR integration, comfort, and unique controllers.

Best value and versatility: Meta Quest 3 or 3S, for standalone and PC VR flexibility, ease of use, and affordability.

Best visuals: HTC Vive Pro 2, if you want the highest resolution and are willing to invest in a premium setup.

Best mid-range clarity: HP Reverb G2, for those prioritizing image quality and comfort without external sensors.

Best for PS5 owners wanting PC VR: PlayStation VR2 with adapter, though with some setup caveats.

Other Considerations
Make sure your PC meets the recommended specs for VR (at least a GTX 1060, 8GB RAM, Intel i5 or better).

External tracking (Valve Index, Vive Pro 2) offers the best precision but requires more setup.

Inside-out tracking (Meta Quest 3, HP Reverb G2, PS VR2) is easier to set up and more portable.

In summary: For the best SteamVR experience, the Valve Index remains the top choice for enthusiasts, while the Meta Quest 3/3S offers the best mix of price, versatility, and ease of use for most users. If you want the sharpest visuals and don’t mind a higher price and setup complexity, the HTC Vive Pro 2 is unmatched
