Das ist bei Brettspielen mittlerweile gang und gebe und Shenmue 3 damals war im Prinzip ja auch nix anderes.
Muss selber aber auch gerade noch abwiegen ob mir der minimale Bonus auf Kickstarter langt oder ich auf die normale Retail warte.
bei brettspielen ist es doch ein bisschen anders, weil hier ja für die spielfiguren/items noch materialien gekauft und produktionsstätten gefunden werden müssen, während das spielprinzip selbst natürlich schon fertig ist.
auch nicht bei jedem und auch bei Brettspielen sind teilweise paar Jahre vorarbeit nötig bis man mal eine Kickstarter Kampagne hat.
Schon klar das es bei Videospielen leicht anders ist und vor allem das Risiko ungemein größer ist das evtl die Kosten von den Entwicklern unterschätzt werden. Aber gerade solche Nischentitel, die ja auch immer weniger werden und wir auf die Güte eines großen Publishers angewiesen sind, könnten durch Kickstarter evtl neues Leben eingehaucht bekommen.
Man sichert sich einen Teil vom Geld durch die Fans im Voraus und bekommt dann später von einem Publisher (dem man dann ja sagen kann ich hab xy „Vorbestellungen“) evtl Unterstützung für einen normalen Release.
Kann mich täuschen, aber denke das wird durchaus öfter vorkommen, sofern es von den Fans halt auch angenommen wird. Das muss sich halt zeigen.
Mein Hauptgrund warum ich evtl auf die Retail warte ist, das Platinum leider aus den USA verschickt und somit Zollrisiko besteht und das Spiel dadurch wohl wesentlich teurer als die Retail werden würde.

Gerade ein Kickstarter Update bekommen.
Auslieferung für Backer der physischen Versionen verzögert sich, jeder bekommt einen Steamcode als Entschädigung.
Mal sehen,es regen sich gerade einige auf, dass die nicht den passenden Code für das System bekommen für die sie auch die physische Version gekauft haben, vielleicht ändern sie daran noch was.

Physical Versions
Unfortunately, due to the effects of the COVID-19 epidemic, we’re expecting delays in preparing the US and EU physical versions. Backer rewards are being given the highest priority, but due to distribution issues, backers who have chosen physical versions of the game may receive it after general retail release. Our current estimate for the start of shipping rewards is late June. Digital Versions
Codes for digital versions of The Wonderful 101: Remastered will go out to backers who pledged the corresponding tiers starting on May 7th. Due to the number of codes it may take some time for all backers to receive them, but we will work to get all digital tier backer codes out ahead of the retail release.Physical Version Retail Release
