John Wick bekommt einen ersten Ableger in Form einer Kurzserie namens The Continental. Diese spielt aber etliche Jahre vor John Wick in den 70ern und dreht sich um Winston Scott.
Hier ist nun Colin Woodell die jüngere Version des späteren mysteriösen Hotelbetreibers und nicht Ian McShane, den wir aus den John Wick-Filmen kennen. Daneben soll Ayomide Adegun sie Rolle von Lance Reddick verkörpern und auch Mel Gibson soll dem Continental wohl ein paar Besuche abstatten. The Continental soll im September auf Amazon Prime Video zu sehen sein. Hört sich alles sehr spannend an und mit Ballerina steht ja ein weiteres Spin-Off des John Wick-Franchise vor der Tür.
